  • Password (stored securely using industry-standard hashing)
  • Account role (buyer, seller, or both)

  • Government-issued ID type and number
  • Uploaded identity documents (photo ID, proof of funds, proof of ownership)

Property and Transaction Data

  • Property listing details (address, description, images, price)
  • Offer and negotiation history
  • Auction bids and results
  • Contract terms and digital signatures

Technical Data

  • IP address, browser type, device information
  • Pages visited, timestamps, and usage patterns
  • Cookies and similar technologies

3. How We Use Your Information

We use personal information to:

  • Provide and operate the Platform
  • Verify your identity for accreditation purposes
  • Facilitate property listings, offers, auctions, and negotiations
  • Send notifications about activity on your account (offers, bids, contract updates)
  • Communicate with you about your account and the Platform

4. How We Share Your Information

We may share your personal information with:

  • Other users — your name and email are visible to the other party in a property transaction (buyer/seller) as necessary for negotiation and contract execution
  • Service providers — third-party services that help us operate the Platform (hosting, email delivery, identity verification, property data providers, direct mail services)
  • Law enforcement — where required by law, court order, or to protect the safety of our users

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, which provides encrypted storage, row-level security, and access controls. Identity documents are stored in private storage buckets accessible only to the user and authorised administrators.

While we take reasonable steps to protect your information, no system is completely secure. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential.

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. We may retain certain data after account deletion where required by law or for legitimate business purposes (e.g., transaction records, dispute resolution).

7. Your Rights

Under Australian privacy law, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate information
  • Request deletion of your account and associated data
  • Opt out of non-essential communications
  • Lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC)

We use essential cookies to maintain your login session and ensure the Platform functions correctly. We may also use analytics cookies to understand how the Platform is used. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but some features may not work correctly.

9. Third-Party Services

The Platform integrates with third-party services including Supabase (database and authentication), Vercel (hosting), and potentially email, SMS, property data, and direct mail providers. Each service has its own privacy policy governing their handling of data.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of material changes via the Platform or email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
